About Me
I am a freelance software developer with expertise in dynamic UX, Microservices and Event-oriented architectures. While I have experience in a few platforms, my core language and the focus of much of my work is javascript.
And yes, I’ve heard all the jokes, but it’s really come along as a language in recent years, one that I have found to be a uniquely challenging and rewarding environment to work in.
When I have the time, I am an artist and a writer and also dabble in model making. Ask me about model railways some time.
I’m available for hire as well.
Design Philosophy
I believe that a user interface must be both beautiful and intuitive. A simple, elegant UI will be both attractive and functional, giving the user the greated access to the most information they need in a way that doesn’t overwhelm, without hiding things in the name of “ease of use” or burying every option beneath layers of impenetrable submenus and subpages.
The challenge is to uncover what the user needs at any particular time and present it to them at that moment. This is the end for which I shall always aim.
